Firstly: When I was little this song used to be my favourite. I was only very young but my mum and dad have shown me a video of my brother and I singing and dancing along to the words. Everyone used to laugh at us in the living room but used to join in to help us out. I can’t remember the exact moves we did, but I do remember loving the song and I still know all the lyrics even now after many years.
Secondly: This song means alot to me because it has a memory to it. This was the song that became the main piece of music I danced to at my dancing show when I was younger. We practised it every week and many times at the dress rehearsals. Dancing was my favourite thing as I was growing up and I always wanted to dance. I was at the group for alot of years; making alot of friends there I hope I’ll never lose contact with.
Thirdly: These 2 songs are more current that have a meaning to me. The Jason Derulo hit is significant because last summer I made up a silly little routine for this song whilst out with friends and they all thought I was mad, but now every time it comes on they know the routine too, so it is a song that will always stick with me holding memories of my friends and last summer. The Beyonce song because I love her music and think she is an incredible artist along with the fact I went to see her last year in concert at the O2 Arena where she performed this song on a small stage right in front of me and she spoke to the young man next to me, therefore always remember this song and how close I was to her.
